Campus Ministry

Supporting the Spiritual Development of All

December 03, 2007

The mission of the Campus Ministry program at Central Catholic High School is to oversee the spiritual growth and Catholic, Marianist heritage of the school community. As a Catholic, Marianist school it is important we provide opportunities through various programming for spiritual growth among our students, faculty, alumni, and parents. It is also important that we promote both the Catholic and Marianist heritage of the school by assuring that our programming supports and is a product of the heritage we hold.

The Campus Ministry program of Central Catholic High School fulfills this mission through its four components:

Through the Retreat Program we provide an out-of-the-classroom experience that allows students to focus on their relationship with themselves, others, and God.

Through the Service Program we promote an understanding of the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, and work together towards peace and justice in our society.

Through our Liturgical Celebrations we come together as a Christian community for worship, and also to reflect on  and celebrate our relationship with God.

And finally, through our Adult and Student Sodalities, we promote living a Christian lifestyle, living the life of Jesus Christ, in a society that is not always accepting of such a way of life.
