Come for a tour or "shadow" for the day!

by Veronica Beck, Director of Admissions

You are cordially invited to take a TOUR of Central Catholic High School! Just give us a call to make a reservation. Tours are given by our Student Ambassadors between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

Or, your 8th grader can join us for a Shadow Day! Central Catholic High School runs a student shadow program for interested 8th grade boys. Those interested in shadowing a freshman student may do so for an entire day 8:30 a.m. - 3:20 p.m. or a half day.

Shadow dates will be scheduled beginning in October, Tuesdays through Thursdays. There is a maximum of five shadow students per day and it is first come first served. A freshman student will be assigned to you at random.

See the checklist below for instructions on how to participate in our shadow program.

    1.    Obtain permission from your school to be absent for a whole or half day.

    2.    If your school requires paperwork, pick that up from your school office.

    3.    Contact the Admissions office at CCHS and reserve a shadow date (210) 225-6794, Ext. 209, at least two days in advance of when you will attend.

    4.    Attire for the day is the Central Catholic dress code: A collared shirt tucked into slacks with a belt and no tennis shoes.

    5.    Parents need to complete a permission slip either in advance or in the morning when they drop their student off.

    6.    Parents must drop off and pick up their sons in the Admissions Office.

    7.    Have Fun, Ask Questions, and Lunch is on us!
