THE CENTRAL CATHOLIC FUND
...the gift of opportunity.
The Central Catholic Fund helps keep the traditions of Central Catholic moving forward – Central Catholic is blessed with so many supporters for The Central Catholic Fund. Over the past decade, 1,680 alumni, past parents, current parents and friends have invested in the Annual Fund totaling $1,346,346. Last year, gifts to the Central Catholic Fund totaled more than $163,000! This year we hope you will join in meeting our $150,000 goal.
Why give to The Central Catholic Fund?
The funding priorities of Central Catholic are diverse and constantly evolving—with changing technologies, expanding curricula, and the needs of our students. Central Catholic Fund gifts are directed to the areas most in need such as:
Scholarships
Central Catholic provided more than $545,000 in scholarships to 193 students wanting to attend this historic and effective school. Unfortunately, we were only able to provide half of what was requested of us. We know that helping these students helps make Central Catholic a diverse community focused on student successes – regardless of their economic background.
Education Materials
Every term paper, every research project, every new discovery of our students and faculty depends, in some measure, on the resources provided by the school’s education infrastructure. From library materials, to computers, to specialized software for the Engineering program, Central Catholic Fund donations are used to purchase key library materials, computers, and specialized software for programs like the Engineering Program, to name a few.
Campus Maintenance and Renovations
Central Catholic’s 79 year-old building located in the near downtown area and within new master developments for the City of San Antonio is a landmark for our entire community. The Central Catholic Fund helps to keep it that way by providing for campus and facilities maintenance.
