Coach Joe Cortez '50 inducted in San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame
Former Central Catholic Basketball Coach, Joe Cortez '50, was inducted into the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, February 12, 2010. Central Catholic High School celebrated his achievement in their own special way in a reception prior to the basketball game vs. Holy Cross on February 9.
More than 100 of his former players and friends came out to support him and he was honored with a special plaque thanking him for his time at Central Catholic at a special halftime ceremony.
