Human Relationships Over the Centuries
Social Studies at Central Catholic is not your grandfather's history class, with tons of memorized facts evaporating after each test. CCHS students are challenged to learn about human relationships in historical and political context, with appropriate research methods, and to apply what they learn across the curriculum. Aristotle taught that politics is the application of ethics to society, so the study of good and bad decisions over the millennia is critical to learning how to avoid the mistakes of the past, and apply Catholic social teaching to the present and future.
