CCHS Athletes Every One

Central Catholic is proud of its cheerleading squad. The team comprises of young women from Incarnate Word High School and Providence High School. As representatives of Central Catholic, the cheerleaders' purpose and motivation is to promote and support the various athletic teams and to build spirit among the student body.

Beginning in the spring and continuing throughout the summer, the squad practices cheers, chants and stunts in order to perfect their motions, synchronization, and coordination which they will take with them to cheer camp held at the University of the Incarnate Word. Once school begins in the fall, the squad practices daily in order to prepare for upcoming pep rallies and athletic events.

We are grateful for the numerous hours they spend in working up terrific routines, and for the incredible enthusiasm they pour out in good weather and bad. They are Central Catholic students in every sense except matriculation, and always will be.
