• 72 years of competitive operation
• Named after USMC Sergeant William J. Bordelon, CCHS graduate of
1938 who earned the Medal of Honor at Tarawa and gave his life in
that operation, WWII
• Team National Records for Sporter Team for High School and JROTC
in Nov 2005

outstanding leadership. It is a story of men whose skills in the
art of fighting have seldom been surpassed." (SH 21-76 U.S.
ARMY RANGER HANDBOOK)
• 14 top 3 finishes during the 2006—2007 Season. (More than all 12
previous seasons combined)
