Central Catholic Competes in Academic Meets, both UIL Invitational and TAPPS District and State
For years, CCHS has been the best private school in San Antonio in pure academics. For two years we have taken first place in science and chemistry.
The Academic Teams are open to any student in the school who would like to test his knowledge and talent in interschool competition.
The Academic team competes throughout the school year in UIL competitions within San Antonio, and yearly in the TAPPS District and State academic meets.
Competition includes pure academic subjects as well as speech, debate, and solo and duet acting. Academic competition is a positive indicator for interested colleges and also affords students an opportunity to letter each year at Central Catholic. Central Catholic has a multi-year record of district championships in pure academics.
