Central Catholic students know that developing social graces, respect for both men and women, and becoming a whole person involve skills best learned in social situations. Hence CCHS has opportunities for young men and women to interact in a wholesome environment at school dances, both formal and informal
These occasions include
- the annual Homecoming Dance, which begins Homecoming Week each October.
- informal after-game dances at most home football contests.
- the Valentine's Day dance, on the Saturday near February 14
- the semi-formal Military Ball, sponsored by the JROTC Brigade.
- the Junior-Senior Prom, organized by the dance committee of the Student Council.
