Service and Leadership

The Student Council is a vital component of the Central Catholic High School commitment to the Marianist Characteristics of Education: formation in faith; education in family spirit; education for service, justice, and peace; education of the whole person; and education for adaptation and change.
The Student Council is committed to providing support, fellowship and advocacy for the students of Central Catholic High School. As the designated representative voice for the students, the Council strives to promote a greater understanding and cooperation with the faculty and administration.
The Student Council encourages all students to participate within the Central Catholic community through student organizations and sponsored activities. It fosters the open sharing of knowledge of Central Catholic affairs among the students. The Council encourages the development of, and provides the means for, responsible student participation in student activities that promote the mission that the Blessed Father William Joseph Chaminade envisioned.
The Student Council is committed to upholding Central Catholic’s longstanding traditions and to innovatively creating new traditions for the students. It continues to help the school grow and move forward with a student minded perspective. The Student Council is completely dedicated to upholding the five characteristics of a Marianist Education, and to fostering unity among the students with the utmost dignity and respect.
