Central Catholic celebrates with Ceremonial Groundbreaking Event
On Saturday, June 25, 2011, Central Catholic welcomed Dr. Wayne F.J. Yakes '71, his wife, Nona, his mother Frances Yakes, his children and sister, to celebrate his generous gift of $5 million dollars. The celebration also welcomed about 300 donors, alumni, students, administration, faculty and staff.
Dr. Yakes' donation will go to the new Convocation and Athletic Center, which will be named the Frances A. Yakes and family of Wayne F.J. Yakes MD '71 with the Coach Joe Cortez '50 Court
