"Why CCHS?" Info Night
Tuesday, October 27
7 pm - 7:30 pm
 
Hear from members of the Central Catholic community about why they chose Central Catholic and what your family can expect as future members of our school. This info session will provide both an in-person and virtual participation option. All Health and Safety Measures will be followed during the in-person presentation.

"Getting HSPT Ready!" Info Night
Tuesday, November 3
7 pm - 7:30 pm
 
Sharing helpful tips and resources to prepare 8th-grade students for the High School Placement Test (HSPT). The HSPT is a required entrance exam for 8th-grade students seeking 9th-grade admissions to a Catholic High School within the Archdiocese of San Antonio. This info session will provide both an in-person and virtual participation option. All Health and Safety Measures will be followed during the in-person presentation.
 
Other important HSPT dates for 8th-grade boys include the Practice HSPT (Saturday, November 7) and Official HSPT (Saturday, December 12). 
 
 
 
"Investing in a Central Catholic Education" Info Night
Tuesday, November 10

Making an investment in your student's education at Central Catholic can last a lifetime. For generations, thousands of families have shared their time, talent, and treasure with Central Catholic. Learn more during this info session about Central Catholic's tuition, tuition assistance, and how your family can anticipate a return on investment once your student graduates. This info session will provide both an in-person and virtual participation option. All Health and Safety Measures will be followed during the in-person presentation.
 
 
 
"Experience Life at CCHS" Info Night

7 pm - 7:30 pm
 
Learn more about how a Central Catholic Button can develop his confidence and character through student activities, faith, and service to the community. There is so much to do and be a part of at Central Catholic! This info session will provide both an in-person and virtual participation option. We invite all in-person attendees to join us at the info night at the Varsity Basketball Game. Come cheer on the Buttons! Complimentary attendance and seating upon availability.

"Making a Change: Catholic Education" Info Night
Tuesday, December 8
7 pm - 7:30 pm
 
Is your family considering making a transition to Catholic Education? Join us during this info session to learn about the benefits of Catholic Education at Central Catholic High School. This info session will provide both an in-person and virtual participation option. All Health and Safety Measures will be followed during the in-person presentation.

Central Catholic invites 8th-grade boys with their parents/guardians to join us for an evening of Halloween social distancing fun on Friday, October 30 from 6 pm to 9:30 pm. To make a reservation for this event, please click here to email the Admissions Team and expect to receive an email from a member of the team in a timely manner with the reservation steps. Reservations are mandatory and will be taken until 10 am on Friday, October 30. 
Central Catholic has partnered with TestRocker, a leading test provider for standardized test (SAT/ACT/HSPT) preparation, to host an in-person 8th-Grade Practice HSPT on Saturday, November 7 from 9 am to 12 pm at Central Catholic High School. All Health and Safety Measures will be followed for this event. Pre-registration is required.
 
The Practice HSPT will:
• Provide students with experience taking a high stake, fully timed entrance exam in an actual testing environment
• Allow students to become familiar with the test material
• Help students understand what preparation may be needed to achieve a competitive score on the actual test

Central Catholic is excited to host an in-person fall Open House now on Sunday, December 6 from 1 pm - 4 pm, at 50% capacity and by appointment. This Open House was previously scheduled for Saturday, November 14.
 
We welcome all families considering Central Catholic for their sons to join us for an afternoon to experience Central Catholic's mission in action. Come discover how Central Catholic develops young men of character through faith, leadership, and academics. While social distancing, your family can visit with members of Central Catholic faculty and staff, coaches, students, and parents.

The High School Placement Test, or HSPT, is a high school entrance exam taken by students in 8th-grade who are seeking 9th-grade admission to a Catholic High School. This standardized exam is timed and tests students in five different academic sections in the subjects of Math and English. 
 
This important exam will be held in-person at Central Catholic on Saturday, December 12, 9 am - 12 pm.
