Senior Information - Fall & Spring

 
Thursday, August 10th - Senior Prep Day
  • Receive a CC combination lock and locker assignment.
  • Take their picture for their IDs, Blackbaud, yearbook, etc.
  • Collect parking pass
  • To be prepared for their ID picture, all students: 
    • You must wear a white button-down shirt and tie. Must have hair to school standard. Must be clean-shaven.

Monday, August 14th - First Day of School
  • All classes resume.
 
Wednesday, August 23rd - Senior Parent Night
  • Topics will include college applications, FASFA, and earning credit.
 
Monday, September 11th - Tux (Yearbook Picture) / Cap & Gown Photos (Last name A-L)
  • Students in alphabet group A-L will take photos on this day
  • Students must bring a shirt and tie with them for the Cap and Gown photo
  • Student's hair must be following the CCHS standard and not appear unkept or shaggy. All students must be clean-shaven.
 
Tuesday, September 12th - Tux (Yearbook Picture) / Cap & Gown Photos (Last name M-Z)
  • Students in alphabet group M-Z will take photos on this day
  • Students must bring a shirt and tie with them for the Cap and Gown photo
  • Student's hair must be by the CCHS standard and not appear unkept or shaggy. All students must be clean-shaven.
 
Tuesday, September 26th - Friday, September 29th - Kairos (Senior Retreat) #1**
 
Friday, October 13th - Jostens Information Session 
  • Students will receive ordering packets for ordering graduation invitations.
  • Cap and gown will be discussed.
    • Reminder: Central Catholic pays for the cap and gown for each senior. The cap and gowns and graduation invitations will arrive at CCHS in late April. Students will pick them up at school.
 
Thursday, October 19th, - Jostens Ordering Day
  • Students will begin placing orders for graduation invitations.
 
Tuesday, October 24th - Friday, October 29th - Kairos (Senior Retreat) #2
  • Final day to order graduation invitations to ensure they are printed and arrive before graduation.

Friday, December 15th - End of Final Exams / End of First Semester

Monday, December 18th - Monday, January 1st
  • Christmas Break
Tuesday, January 2nd - Beginning of Second Semester
  • All classes resume
 
Tuesday, February 27th - Friday, March 1st - Kairos (Senior Retreat) #3**

Friday, March 18th - Service Hours Due
  • All service hours are due for each senior.
  • In order to graduate, each student must have completed a total of 110 service hours over four years.
    • If you transferred in after your freshman year, please meet with Mr. Bendle before this date to discuss
      your service requirements.
 
Tuesday, March 26th - Senior Panoramic
  • Dress is suit and tie; Dress shoes or dress boots ONLY.
  • No khaki pants, No Sperries, and No Tennis Shoes are permitted, and a dark-colored suit is preferred.
 
Tuesday, April 9th - Friday, April 12th - Kairos (Senior Retreat) #4

Friday, April 26th - Junior-Senior Prom
  • Formal attire must be worn for this event. Suit or Tuxedo
  • Tickets go on sale after Spring Break.
 
Tuesday, April 30th - Last All School Mass
  • Dress is mass attire
  • Held in the KCCC mass begins at 9:15 a.m.
 
Monday, May 6th - Friday, May 17th - AP Exams

Thursday, May 16th - Senior Awards Night
  • The award ceremony is held in the KCCC.
  • A shirt, tie, dress shoes or dress boots only, and dress pants are required for students to wear under their graduation robes.
 
Monday, May 20th - Thursday, May 23rd - Senior Exams
  • Schedule of exams TBA
 
Thursday, May 23rd - Senior Luncheon
  • Regular school day attire is to be worn for this event.
 
Thursday, May 23rd - Baccalaureate Mass
  • Mass will be held at St. Matthews Catholic Church
  • A Shirt, tie, dress shoes or dress boots only, and dress pants are required for students to wear under their graduation robes.
 
Friday, May 24th - Graduation
  • Graduation will be held at St. Mary's University Bill Greehey Arena
  • A shirt, tie, dress shoes or dress boots only, and dress pants are required for students to wear under their graduation robes.
 
*In the event of unforeseen circumstances, all dates are subject to change. Any change will be communicated through the E- button and through email.
**Students are only required to attend one Kairos retreat throughout the year, not all four. Please plan accordingly.
