On Thursday, May 24, the 166th class of graduates from Central Catholic High School made their final appearance as members of the student body as they entered Bill Greehey Arena at St. Mary’s University. Both, the Baccalaureate and Commencement, ceremonies were a time of celebration. The Class of 2018 distinguished its academic power with the impressive number of scholarships and academic awards its members garnished. Overall, the 131 graduates were offered college scholarships totaling more than $19 million.More than 1,200 parents, family members, and friends came to show their support for the graduates Thursday evening.
