2020-2021 Incoming Freshman Application Process
Thank you for considering Central Catholic High School for your student!
All 8th-grade students seeking admission to Central Catholic High School for the 2020-2021 School Year must submit the following:
•2020-2021 Incoming Freshman Application
•8th-Grade Math and English Teacher Recommendation Forms
•Middle School Records
•High School Placement Test (HSPT) Results
Applications are complete when all necessary materials have been received. All completed applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
We encourage all applicants with their parent(s)/guardian(s) to use the 2020-2021 Incoming Freshman Application Checklist and to review the Incoming Freshman Application FAQs prior to beginning the 2020-2021 Incoming Freshman Application Process.

Central Catholic will send the teacher recommendation form to middle schools for the Math and English teachers to complete!

Official HSPT Day: Saturday, December 14, 2019 (pre-register HERE)
Deadline for Freshman Application: Saturday, January 4, 2020
Alternative HSPT Day: Saturday, January 11, 2020
Deadline for Teacher Recommendations, School Records, and HSPT Results: Wednesday, January 29, 2020
Admissions Notification Day: Friday, February 7, 2020

Practice HSPT Day
Saturday, Nov. 16
9 am - 1:30 pm
8th-grade boys are invited to attend this complimentary practice day to help them prepare for the official HSPT! Students will learn test strategies, become familiar with the timed-test setting, and more. Test day includes lunch.

Saturday, Dec. 14
9 am - 12 pm
The High School Placement Test, or HSPT, is a high school entrance exam taken by students in 8th-grade who are seeking 9th-grade admission to parochial high schools. This standardized exam is timed and tests students in five different academic sections in the subject of Math and English. Students considering Central Catholic for 9th-grade must take the HSPT during their admissions application process.
