Admissions Philosophy
Central Catholic invites young men from diverse backgrounds to join our community and embark upon a
high school journey rooted in the Catholic, Marianist tradition. During the admissions process, Central
Catholic will provide parents with feedback regarding their son’s application and his readiness to begin
an education steeped in academic rigor and personal development.
APPLY NOW! 2024-2025 Incoming Freshman Admissions Process
Central Catholic requires the following application materials when considering acceptance:
•Complete online 2024-2025 Incoming Freshman Application (applications go live on September 30!)
•8th-Grade Math and English Teacher Recommendations
•Middle school curriculum grades/transcripts
•Standardized test scores from middle school 
•Admissions Interview (if requested)
An applicant is given consideration for acceptance once the Central Catholic Admissions Team has received the applicant's online application, teacher recommendations, middle school grades/transcripts, middle school standardized test scores, and interview results. 
Priority Application Deadline (Admissions & Tuition Assistance): December 1, 2023
*Apply for admission by December 1, 2023, to receive a waived online admissions application fee ($35 value). Applications submitted after December 1 will be assessed a $35 non-refundable application fee. The admissions decision notification will be on February 2, 2024. This is also the priority deadline for Tuition Assistance. Submit a FACTS aid application by December 1, 2023, to get early notice of awarded Tuition Assistance and Scholarships with the admissions decision notification.

2024-2025 Optional HSPT Information
The HSPT is no longer an admissions requirement for Central Catholic. We are now calling this the Optional HSPT! Although this exam is not required for admissions purposes, the HSPT is a requirement for merit-based scholarship consideration at Central Catholic. If your student wishes to be considered for merit-based scholarships like the Marianist Merit Scholarship and President's Scholar Award, then he must take the Optional HSPT at Central Catholic on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 9 am - 12 pm.
Don't miss out - Students who take the Optional HSPT at Central Catholic on December 9, 2023, who are accepted to Central Catholic and enroll at Central Catholic will receive a $100 credit towards their tuition enrollment fee!
