hello and welcome to this walkthrough of the Aeries portal this is Central Catholic Student information system where we allows all students data such as contact information pendants discipline records class schedules Etc this is our Central Hub or student information so one of the first things that you want to look for when you are logging into the system is to verify that you are not the correct URL so make sure that it says Central Catholic High School District at the top and you see this little message at the bottom here that much you know that you're coming in to sprinkle chocolate you ever eat I would get an email should get an email with the email address that we have on file and they're going to use that email address to login so the automated email will come to your email account check your spam folder if for it to be in there and you're going to use that email to go ahead and log into the system the students are going to use their student there's two email address that is provided to them okay so once you type in that email address go ahead and click next and then you're going to put in your password if you're logging in for the first time you will have given been given a temporary password in that initial email at anytime you can go ahead and click the forgot your password link and go ahead and reset your password this is a very helpful school so if you don't get the email you can try to come back into the system and back into this URL come back to this website and then click the forgot password Link in that might go ahead and do a resend of the email to get you in you go ahead and put in your credentials quick sign-in you can be taken to your dashboard page I'm right now because it's the summer there are no current School classes normally the class summary would show here with their with their grades in calendar what's going on on the campus attendance summary I want to go to a couple of the tabs that are up here for you to notice you're going to go ahead and look at the student profile the demographics the profile gives you a quick snapshot of their records and and pendants end credits completed Etc I'll grab it to the really important page please click on that if there's any information on here that is not correct please notify the school office contacts additionally please review the contact information make sure that the correct contact is there and the contact identification is there we want to make sure that we clearly have the correct relationship type for each student and knowing if student resides with that parents so please make sure that all this information is is correct as well as you can see here there's a contact record that doesn't have any information on there so you know if you don't know who that person is please contact the school to have that information updated attendance grades is going to be where you're going to see great book information an overview of that work hard will be saved each report card that is as a digital report card as a PDF in so you'll have a listing of all the report cards here and then a basic unofficial transcript can be asked I'm here this is where you going to look at your current class schedule course request are courses that are being requested for the next year and then summer school course request are those or even that is requested to take summer school those are going to be listed here so if you are taking classes for summer school or you you want to verify your classes for the upcoming year is a good place to go ahead and double-check that information medical history immunization we want make sure that those are both complete enough to answer please take some time to look at both of those and then we have accurate medical history and then your discipline record is here as well one of the things that will over the summer each summer we asked parents to review the data and to go through a data confirmation process that's going to be sent out and a separate video but note that we will utilize one other quick feature I want to show you is up here lick your account and this little log in Cary you can change your notification preferences so if you'd like to get weekly email summaries from the system you can go ahead and set those up right here and say that yes like them and what days you would like to see them change your password or change your email you this add a new student your account its we don't utilize that so just let the school know if there's a sibling that you should have access but you don't we just go ahead and contact main office and we will go ahead and set that up for you so you can also send an email to Aries at Sea chs.org and they also I hope you would not request I hope this walkthrough was was helpful again welcome to Aries and arson information system
