The Valorant Team takes a "Byte" out of the Competition

On November 19, 2022, The Valorant Team of Central Catholic’s eSports Program,” The Snake Bytes” competed in the R20 League at the Tech Port Center + Arena in Port San Antonio.

Accompanied by Dr. Ballesteros, the Valorant Team was led by Nathan Talamantez. The other team members included Rudy Davila, Miles Procknow, Daniel Carmona, and Jack Brysch.

This 5-member group competed against other local eSports teams from CAST Tech, Harlandale, Cole, Roosevelt, and Lutheran High Schools. They won four rounds out of five. In their group, the team ranked 2nd out of 6 teams.

The next in-person competition for the team, along with the Rocket League and Super Smash Brothers teams, will be in early December. Go Snake Bytes!
