This past Thursday (April 20), Francisco Garcia gave a talk to a room full of around 40 current Central students. His talk focused on his time at St. Mary’s University (he is currently a junior), his undergraduate research (also done at St. Mary’s in the Biology Department), his professors, and various medical programs offered for students at St. Mary’s. Francisco has loved his time at St. Mary’s. He has grown, not just as a scholar, but also as a man of faith. Francisco concluded his presentation by discussing his early acceptance into the Baylor College of Medicine!
This was a great opportunity for many of our current students to interact with a Central brother who is not that much older than them. Francisco is a wonderful role model.
We know that he will continue to make us proud!
