The Last Science Speaker of the Year!

We have had 20 guest speakers this year in our Science Department Guest Lecture Series. Most of these presenters are individuals who talk about their careers or their research.  However, for the past several years, my tradition has been to end the year with one of our very own seniors.  Last year we had Kily Jasso give one of his anatomy presentations - and he totally rocked it! So, the bar was set high in my opinion.

This year, Paul Garcia graciously agreed to give our last talk. His topic was “Convergent Evolution.”  And guess what?... He was fantastic.  Afterward, we were able to enjoy some apple soda water that I made! Thank you, Paul, for being our very last speaker of the year. This was A LOT of fun!
