Message from the Principal

Hello Central Catholic Families!

We are just a few days into the school year, and there is already a lot of excitement throughout the campus! We closed out what was a banner year, and we are looking forward to tremendous success this year! We welcome our Class of 2026 as well as all of the new transfer families who have joined us over the summer! We are blessed that you all have chosen us to be a part of your son’s journey. It has been so rejuvenating seeing all of their smiling faces!

On Monday, we gathered for our first school mass to honor our Mother Mary in celebration of the Feast of the Assumption. On this day, our Mother Mary ascended into heaven to be with her son, Jesus Christ. As a Catholic Marianist school, this is a special mass for us. We ask that our Blessed Mother continue to guide us as she did Jesus. We are reminded of this when we pray the Marianist Doxology:

May the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit be glorified in all places through the Immaculate Virgin Mary. Amen.

We would also like to welcome and ask for blessings for all of our new teachers:

  • Ms. Irma Alvarado, Math

  • MSG (RET) Alex Chavez, JROTC

  • 1SG (RET) Jose Gonzales, JROTC

  • Ms. Sheila Kizzart, English

  • Mr. David Magallanez, Social Studies

  • Ms. Diana Moreno, Math

  • Mr. Adam Soliz, Social Studies

  • Ms. Michelle Torres, English

  • Ms. Norma Treviño, Science
  •
  • Ms. Karla Ortiz, English

Please remind your friends to read the eButton as important information and calendar events are shared each week.

May God continue to bless us, and may He continue to bless our Central High.

FANGS UP!

Grace and Peace,

Dr. Lee Hernández
