Haven for Hope - September 3

On Saturday, September 3, the Guardian Angels were blessed to be able to volunteer at Haven for Hope to
serve the homeless! There were 19 young men from Central Catholic (and one amazing young lady –
Mr. Bendele’s daughter, Terra) who helped. A special shout-out goes out to Mr. Hansen for joining the
group. We ended up making 3,840 sandwiches and served lunch to over 400 individuals.

As you can tell from the pictures, our guys had a BLAST serving the community! Special thanks to Nico
Garza for providing the music!

One other thing that was memorable about this project was that we were serving vegetables that had
been grown at the San Juan Community Farm (where we volunteered for our last project)!
