We are thrilled to share that our band, guitar, and music appreciation programs are bustling with excitement and noteworthy events. Here's a glimpse of what's been happening:
- Band: Boot Scootin’ Boogie, Havana, Wipe Out, Un Rinconcito en el Cielo?! These are some of the new
pieces you are guaranteed to hear throughout this football season. Enriched with repertoire and the culture behind many musical genres, the button band brings the music to life as a way to show their unconditional appreciation for the arts. - Guitar: Homecoming Week was a great time to introduce music that coincided with the themes. Tuesday was favorite movie and tv show theme, so out of all the awesome themes displayed by the students, they got to learn and play The Office theme song, inspired by Mr. G’s character, three hole-punch Jim.
- Music Appreciation: In our music appreciation classes, students have been immersed in the rich world of music history, theory, and appreciation. They have been discovering new genres, analyzing compositions, and gaining a deeper understanding of the power of music.
