American Legion Oratorical Contest Winner

We are excited to share the exceptional achievements of our seniors at the American Legion Oratorical Contest held on November 5th at Post #2 on Fredericksburg Road. Seven talented students took part in this prestigious competition, delivering an impressive eight-minute oration on various aspects of the Constitution, focusing on the responsibilities and obligations of citizens towards our government.

But the challenge didn't end there! Following their prepared speech, our seniors showcased their knowledge on one of the four amendments in the Bill of Rights with an impromptu five-minute speech.

We are proud to congratulate Patrick Cisneros, Sean Hospenthal, Jackson Kahanek, Gavin Lazano, Lexington Megerle, John Sanchez, and Marcos Serda for their outstanding participation.

Let's give a round of applause to our deserving medalists: Lexington Megerle, who received the Gold Medal, Jackson Kahanek, who secured the Silver Medal, and John Sanchez, who earned the Bronze Medal.

We are thrilled to announce that Lexington Megerle will be advancing to the district contest on January 6th. Let's rally behind Lexington and cheer him on to further success in this challenging competition!
