As part of Central Catholic High School’s ongoing commitment to transparency and
accountability, the Board of Directors has engaged JCA Law, PLLC to conduct an independent
investigation and review of recent events at Central Catholic and actions taken by staff and
administration. This process will also address any related allegations that may come to light that
involve our students, staff or administration. JCA Law has extensive experience working closely
with educational institutions in areas including education law and student rights as well as
leading high-profile investigations involving allegations of bullying, hazing and code of conduct
Violations.
The Board of Directors has also worked with Mitratech, a global leader in hotline and
whistleblower reporting solutions, to establish a secure, anonymous reporting channel for
students and parents using Mitratech’s Lighthouse platform and managed by
Mitratech: https://report.syntrio.com/cchs-satx. Students and parents also have the options of contacting one of the school’s counselors or contacting President Jason Longoria.
We encourage students or parents with information related to these allegations or any other
incidents to come forward and report to the school. We want to ensure all parents and students
that any reported concerns will be thoroughly reviewed and taken seriously, and that Central
Catholic is committed to taking prompt and appropriate action. Further, any form of retaliation
against any student who comes forward is strictly prohibited and will be addressed appropriately.
